Graphite gaskets are cut or punched from pure graphite plates or metal (toothed plates, flat plates, nets) reinforced graphite plates. Flexible graphite is a new type of sealing engineering material developed in recent years. It is made by pressing or rolling natural flake graphite or pyrolytic graphite after special chemical treatment and heat treatment, without the need to add any binders.

A wide variety of circular and complex geometric gaskets are widely used in heat exchangers, as well as in dry plate lubricants, heat dissipation barriers, chemical shielding, cooling towers, chemical plants, and equipment using hot oil.

Graphite gaskets can be used stably for a long time under harsh working conditions, requiring very little maintenance. This can significantly reduce equipment maintenance costs and extend their service life. The inner lining material can be selected from different metal sheets. Common reinforcing materials include flat-toothed or cut-toothed stainless steel, other metals such as nickel or nickel alloys, and polyester films. The type can be selected as no edge wrapping, inner edge wrapping, outer edge wrapping, and both inner and outer edge wrapping. Graphite cutting gaskets are punched or cut from pure graphite plates. They have excellent corrosion resistance, can withstand high and low temperatures, and their operating temperature range can reach -269°C to a maximum of 550° C. They also have good compressive resilience and high strength. Their characteristics include being non-hazardous, heat-resistant, chemical-resistant, durable, high-strength, and non-sticky material.
