Asbestos fiber gasket can be divided into ordinary rubber gasket and oil-resistant asbestos rubber gasket according to its formula, process performance and use. Suitable for sealing of water, water vapor, oil, solvent, medium acid, alkali, applied in the sealing of medium and low pressure flange connection.

Asbestos rubber gaskets are made from asbestos fibers and rubber as the main raw materials, supplemented by rubber compounding agents and fillers, through processes such as mixing and stirring, hot roller forming, and vulcanization. Asbestos rubber gaskets can be classified into ordinary asbestos rubber gaskets and oil-resistant asbestos rubber gaskets based on their formulas, process performances and applications. According to the different temperatures and pressures used, asbestos rubber gaskets can be further classified into low-pressure asbestos rubber gaskets, medium-pressure asbestos rubber gaskets and high-pressure asbestos rubber gaskets.

It is mainly applied in the sealing of water, steam, oil, solvents, medium acids and alkalis, as well as in the sealing of medium and low pressure flange connections.

Detailed introduction

Asbestos gaskets have excellent sealing performance and can be used within a temperature range of -100℃ to 1000℃. According to pressure grades, they can be classified into low-pressure, medium-pressure, high-pressure asbestos gaskets and oil-resistant asbestos rubber gaskets. This product is suitable for sealing water, steam, oil and moderately acidic or alkaline media. The most commonly used thickness is 3MM-5MM, and it is widely applied in the chemical, petroleum, power and other industries. Asbestos rubber gaskets, containing compounding agents and fillers, have good sealing performance.
